Just brought that up with my mom, she says it needs to cause permanent damage to sue. She knows because people told her that when her thyroid acted up and almost killed her, at the time it didn't cause any permanent damage.
True, but medical records can suffice even if permanent damage was never done. If your family has records of your sister getting Staff and can find records and doctors notes, she can be sued.
Or you can also sue for negligence regarding the Staff case. Once again, tons of money, lost medical license.
