I agree about Norton, but I think McAfee is a bit lax when it comes to virii. It tends to let a few in, which isn't good.
I suggest Nod32, BitDefender, Kaspersky or Trend Micro.

Ha, my parents just bought a new computer. They made me set it up for them. The first thing I did was uninstall Norton and install another software. xD

God, when I bought this computer it came with some lame norton preinstalled that asked me to activate it every 6 hours. I don't think I've still removed every trace of it from my hard drive seeing as it was installed PRETTY MUCH EVERYWHERE. I hit uninstall on the like 5 components in the uninstall menu, and there was still like 10 folders scattered around with random files from it.
