Electricity is not free. Most people turn their computers off at night. Also, I'm doing this for free, or at least not at any cost to the people I'm hosting for (its $18,000/year for me).

It's a VPS in a datacenter. He isn't paying for electricity.

I really had to take electricity costs into account when I was living at home and bitcoin mining. I live in a dorm right now, which is why I stated that $18,000. I don't pay extra for electricity, so I might as well do things to get my monies worth.

Because while 5830's have the best cost/performance, they most certainly were not the most energy efficient for their mining speed. They were essentially half broken 5870's with disabled cores, and used more power than 5850's while only being 75% as fast.

In response to kalphiter, I had to because more than 1/2 of the money I was making from bitcoin mining with the hardware I had was going into paying tor electricity. That was the point where I decided to sell off 1/2 of my hardware.

Also don't be willing to give out your key so easily or else you'll find that it's disabled because Badspot saw that it was being used on two IP's at once.

You can only play from one IP at the time. Dedicated servers, however, don't count.

I seen a few situations where people dual-play from two IP's. I've heard though that Baddy gets notified when this happens and then he usually disables the key.

Starcraftman, I sent you the addons. Set up the server tomorrow though, I can't configure it today. Also, do you have dedicated minigame?

Usually one one of them just get an auth error. This is what happened when I was "dual-playing" between Piteå and Egypt once (because of VPN and whatnot).

I don't have any way for you to apply your key to the server without me knowing it. I would prefer to not have to be responsible for that. Also, you are on the waiting list because other people responded first.
