asdf my monitor stand just broke

I was moving the monitor (big crt monitor) so I could get something behind it. Suddenly, the loving stand pops off and part of it breaks. The part that slides into the bottom of the monitor broke off and is stuck in there.
Now I don't have a monitor. Well, I do. But I can't use it with no stand. It's stitting on my desk now, just looking up at me. >:c

sort of like every monitor that doesn't use HDMI primarily
which is rare
because HDMI is usually used for TVs

I don't know why, but I just really am not fond of HDMI
I do like it for how easy it is compared to component cables, but I just prefer VGA
