I heard there going to build a new higher tower at Ground Zero called the "Freedom Tower"

holy forget

I am loving out of this thread.

Not my picture, but I saw the pillars of light. I was in Manhattan when they did it, it was honestly one of the more beautiful things I've seen.

It prevents people from moving on with their lives. If each year on the anniversary of a member of my family's death we did a ceremony, I'd be a depressed motherforgeter.
No, It prevents SOME people. It doesn't affect every living person the same way. Not everyone is like you.

I'm enjoying your pictures.

i was 4 when it happened, and i still remember.
our teacher was watching the news while we were coloring, and then she freaked out, and called us all over to her TV.
and that was when i saw the towers fall, but being 4 and all, i didn't feel anything until i realized, "oh god those people are gone"

That restraunt looks awesome :D
And i was 3-4 when it happened. I didn't know what was going on and I don't remember but my mom said i was crying.
Im guessing its from the feeling of how people are talking and yelling on TV and my mom crying.

Dude your dad or another relative might've been in the city on that day. I remember my mom telling me all of the phone lines were busy.

I was 7 when it happened, and watched it all on the news.
Got a day off of school for it.

Whole point of terrorist attack is to make us afraid

10 years later we still are and can't get over it

>listen to kevin's last call
>if you don't feel sad, or cry, you are probably heartless

It happened 10 years ago. Move on. Humans die every day, but because another country did it it's a massive deal.

I'm not heartless at all. The people were paid their respects and we've had 10 straight years of "moment of silence" for them in schools and sports games and such.

You don't still erect monuments and memorials for your great grandma that died 10 years ago do you? Sure, people's loved ones died, but

I think that if the people who died during the 9/11 attacks could speak today, they'd be ashamed of how this country can't move on.
Dwelling on what happened after so long just makes the country look weak. If the American public really wants to be seen as strong and unbreakable- then they should have paid their respects and moved on with business as usual. Getting all sentimental and teary eyed every 9/11 anniversary is slapping every single one of the victims of the attacks in the face. It shows everyone that we can't move on, which is just what the terrorists wanted to happen.

and don't say "hur dur you only say this because no one you knew died".

No. I say that because I would feel exactly the same way if even my mom or dad died in it.

the reason we are so sad about this day is because nobody deserves to die with a loving TOWER COLLAPSING ON THEIR HEADS
jesus christ.
