The reason we honor the people who died is because they were killed at the hands of a few men. 2 thousand people were killed that day within hours. The argument that we don't honor soldiers enough is invalid, they signed up knowing they could be killed. We honor the people killed in war via Memorial(Armistice) Day in America.

@Wizzeh

I don't agree about the war, but we aren't killing innocent bystanders, and the people who fight over there knew they would have a chance of dying.

Good day to you sirs!

nobody gives a damn about the soldiers
hell, people have done three tours over in afghan, possibly more or less, and have still come back without harm or ever seeing enemy contact. yet people congratulate them like they came from the barracks of normandy. if you came back from vietnam alive, you were treated as the war was; stuff.

We kill innocents all the time. Obviously not intentionally but it happens.

Its not like we're deliberately killing civilians like during 9/11.

The message body was left empty.

The Vietnam War was the least accepted, but I don't understand why people that fought were treated like stuff when they were forced to go over there, oh well.

Im not disagreeing with him, Im just saying we don't do it deliberately. I was agreeing with him.

i was loving in kindergarden when this happened. first day of EXTENDED CARE. aka: in-school daycare.

my mom was doing her limo job, and she told me everything was loving weird. some person was mentioning a plane hit a tower in new york, or something else, idk.

now this might be pretty interesting, but most of the pickups from that place were at midway airport or o'hare. they were loving panicking and stuff.

when they finally grounded all the planes, they had a stuff storm of calls for limos. they even had to make special rates for this event. my mom picked me up from school, and my snail uncle comes over on that day.

i only remember extended care :S. the rest my mom told me.

I was bolding what he said
nevermind, you didn't even read his post
let me explain this:
you said:
Its not like we're deliberately killing civilians like during 9/11.
before this, he said:
We kill innocents all the time. Obviously not intentionally but it happens.

he was saying we kill them, but not intentionally/deliberately
I was bolding the part because you seemed to skip over it
now you're just acting like something else happened

Whatever, I know what I meant.

The Vietnam War was the least accepted, but I don't understand why people that fought were treated like stuff when they were forced to go over there, oh well.
the unpopularity with the war's inception caused hatred amongst all who were in it

Whatever, I know what I meant.
double toasted roast: that's like being in school and being asked a question, then saying something completely irrelevant, then getting corrected, then saying, "hurr durr ur dum dum i new wat i ment!!111!!!"

My uncle was in the towers :(

I live in NY when it happened.

I didn't understand the magnitude of the situation, I was just glad I got a month off of Kindergarten.

Wizzeh is an ignorant son of a bitch. Get out.
