If someone is driving as such, pulling to the side a bit and the giving them a wave to pass you would have probably been much more effective. But, 'tis your choice. It used to bother me now I could care less, I drive how fast I want and I stop as fast as I want and if they hit me they pay for a new car. The only problem I have is if they beep then they're going to loving pay, PAY IN loving BLOOD. Every time someone tailgates me and honks I go 10-20 mph slower for each honk until I am down to 20.
