I played a Star Fox game on Gamecube when I was little, it was boring and annoying. What makes it so special?

Star Fox 64 is a classic, and very fun. The 3D-one is just an enhanced version, so I don't expect it to be any different.
It is simple flying/tank-driving from point-a to point-b, whilst trying to shoot down the enemy.

If you played Star Fox Adventures, then you really should try a different Star Fox.
It was the first, and only, game that had a different playing style than all of the others before and after it (I believe it had the worst reviews of any Star Fox game too).
The Star Fox games are mainly flying-type games, Star Fox: Assault had a bit of ground-battle but it wasn't like Adventures.

i got star fox 64 3DS not worth $40.... but some good news the multiplayer mode is also single player and you can fight AIs and theres a level select now
