I've updated it, wiped and redownloaded Direct X. Drivers too.
Absolutely loving same result.

I had a similar problem back when I tried to run DX10 with Vista on a DX9-only capable video card.  GPUs that weren't around when DX10 came out can't do DX10, and I had varying symptoms from game to game, either moments of lag or just crashes.

AMD Radeon HD 5450.
DirectX 11 is freshly installed.

If I were you, I'd totally wipe the driver install using the method I posted on your older thread, then install these again.
