That was going pretty beautifully until you went mega pessimistic at the end.
it's not pessimistic, it's realistic, unless we have some immortal motherforgeters running around.

Life is a like a tunnel.

You're walking along, strolling, and then you get hit by a car and become a cripple for the rest of your life.

yes, there is no god, there is no heaven, the only possible afterlife is our minds taking us deep into the land of our thoughts.

i'm enjoying my life doing what i want, you on the other hand spend your life praying for eternal happiness in hopes of one day a gigantic all knowing, all powerful being will whisk you away from reality to live with him in a cloud kingdom. what makes your notion of the afterlife more credible than that of the norsemen and the ragnorak?
