Author Topic: Who here remembers VHS?  (Read 2479 times)

I remember when we got our first dvd player. After that VHS became a thing of the past. Now it seems the DvD is slowly declining due the rise in Blue Ray and Netflix console streaming thing.

only vhs tapes i've got left are old james bond movies recorded from the telly

Who doesn't remember VHS? We've still got quite a collection of tapes (the original Star Wars, Austin Powers, Dr. Dolittle, Liar Liar, Uncle Buck, Rugrats, Pokemon, etc. etc.), and I'm pretty sure our player still works. Dunno where it got off to though.

Our kids won't even know what the hell a DVD player was. Much less a VHS.
Just how we don't know what a wheelburrow or a Nintendo 8-bit is

Get out and return when you're mature enough.

Or after you finish working on your garden.

"Wheelbarrow".

Maybe you're the one who should be gardening more.

People who work on a garden all day long ain't some vucabular gentlemen of honor, boy.

Nym's grammar mistake doesn't change the point.

I meant Nientendo
Well what is a Nientendo?

I think I would know it if I saw one, I've never heard of the word before.

I remember we had a tv with a built-in vcr! That was some cutting edge stuff!
