For those of you who don't know, I've started on a new map. I don't normally do terrain maps but this was pretty neat. I have to admit I did base it slightly off Lego Island but it evolved into an entirely new concept. It's a pretty unique terrain map that you may have never seen anything like before. The map has ambient music effects, you can hear the waves of the ocean or the screech of a seagull. There is plenty of emitters placed around like grass, seaweed, coral and fish (for some reason you can see emitters through water). The map is not a terrain edit, the entire project was shaped from scratch. There is also attention to detail with textures such as underwater ripple effect like sand, regular sand and wet sand for the shore.

Right now I'm just looking for opinions, suggestions and criticism on the map itself.

I also need some help on the map.

What I'm looking for:
  • Block-o style flower particles (Like lego flowers except they are more blocky)
  • Fish emitters with "fishlike" animations
  • A lego style/blocko style palm tree with a collision mesh
  • A collision mesh barrier to cover the island
  • A proper name for the map
  • Decent pictures of fish (preferably brick style fish)
  • A better wet sand texture for the shore.

Is this the one where they were complaining about the pointy mountain?

Is this the one where they were complaining about the pointy mountain?

No, I had complaints about the mountain being too flat.

Your average person complains they can't build on a pointy mountain. If you make the mountain flat enough for them to build on that same starfish will complain about the mountain being too flat.

Stretchy stretchy

It was either that or people walking up the mountain the wrong way, pick one.

Blame torque.

I really do like that mountain.

You should name it "Mount Blocko"

It's all right. The mountain isn't great but it works. Textures are great though.

Mountain needs to be a little smooth.

Can I get criticism/suggestions away from the mountain because I am not changing it.

Well the shoreline looks kind of rough. Is it really that jagged or is the screenshot just bad?

I like it a lot. Good work.

Omg, Lord Tony made yet another map.

lovey map.

Perhaps you could make the mountain a little less square?

the mountain is simply way too steep and looks completely unnatural. it should be more of an incline and less of a steep drop.
