I am, at my school I would only have to compete with one person, she just has good work ethic which I didn't have the last 2 years. But Im only in 8th grade so I have a year to fix this.

No, Im only in 8th grade, they don't start giving you credits until high school, there are some exception however.

There is only one other person I know who has a chance at beating me to valedictorian, but she'll lose in calculus because the only reason she gets her good grades is by appealing to teachers and acting like a feminist. Math is about getting the right answer, which is what I'm good at.
