Banned on my phone, unbanned on the computer!

so apparently, when i browse the forums like i am right now from my PC, i am unbanned and send PMs and post.

however, when i sign in using my Pantech Crux the little message box up top will say:

Sorry, TheChaosCarrier, you are banned from posting or sending personal messages on this forum.
           Spam/Garbage posts

what is weird, is that it seems to go on and off, where when i change pages from time to time on my phone, i'll be unbanned, but be banned again whenever i change the page again.

i have e-mailed Badspot about this, wondering if he knows anything about it.
so far no reply.

i have wondered if my phone provider is the issue or related to it
i use Verizon

I think sometimes he bans IPs instead of accounts or something. I can't think of any other reason.

my IP changes whenever i connect to a different cell tower i believe, and i'm still banned.

Huh, that's odd.

I thought it'd be the other way around, you being blocked on your computer but not on your phone.
Probably something with IPs, because I think he did that once and the ban carried over from my brother's account to mine.

whats also funny is, when i'm not logged in but a guest instead, it still says the Guest is banned for spam/garbage lol

Spam accounts are often IP-banned on forums in addition to being removed.

Also, when you're banned, you tend to be IP-banned for the duration of the ban.

I also use the forums off my phone's 3G too, but it seems where I live, I'm not banned from the forums.
