Author Topic: Games be eatin up mah CPU (Read 431 times)

Hay.

I have a problem. Whenever i play any games (Minecraft, TF2, Terraria, Haven and Hearth, etc.) my CPU ramps up to 100% usage and my computer shuts down promptly and won't start up again for about 30 minutes.
I think it has to do with my PSU or stuffty integrated Graphic card.

sounds like you're overheating (weak cpu so it works hard even for 'simple' games)
install more fans

theyre actually really cheap. just scratch together like $10 and get a cheap one or two off newegg.

assuming you have some available fan mounts in your case.

It's an AMD processor, they are notorious for overheating. MORE FAAANNNSSS

I really have no idea if i have any unused fan mounts.
It's a pretty old rig, so its possible there are none.
also i wouldnt know how to open this deathtrap :c
