Also, if you are under 18, it is illegal to carry any sort of weapon in public.

Last but not least, by law the blade must be 6 inches long or shorter. Or maybe 8 inch.

Okay, that's a really dumb thing to say.
For one thing, winning an unfair (in your favor) fight is going to get a lot of people angry at you.
Losing that same fight would get you made fun of a lot.
You shouldn't have ever mentioned to them about the knife.
