Im not even kidding. It puts me on edge, even if it doesnt involve me. For example, back when my brother was 8 he was really into legos. Well, for his birthday all he asked for was legos. He didnt ask for any particular set or any type of theme. Well, when his birthday came around, he got legos. Nothing but legos.
And what did he do?
He threw a loving fit.
Here my dad was, spending literally 100s of dollars on a few Lego Starwars sets. Hell, even I thought some of these things are cool. But he said he would, "Rather have lego video games"
Its plain rude, especially when you give no detail on what you want...
Heres the thing that got me mad today.
So when I got home from school Max4344 IM'd me on Steam. He was asking for me to gift him some Cities in Motion DLC. At first I was turned off by the idea, and told him no, but after I saw the prices i was like, "Meh. Its a dollar. Why not." and bought him
This.He immediately replied, "Meh. Its not the one I wanted."
Of course I didnt reply. Why would I? It was a rude remark. A few hours later, the game had installed for him and he went in-game. Not even 15 minutes later he said, "Well, ive played the DLC you got me."
I said, "Do you like it?"
"Meh. I wish you would have bought me
Tokyo"
I was mad, and immediately unfriended him on steam. It may have only been a dollar, but that doesnt excuse his behavior especially when he could have bought it.
TL;DR: People should be more appreciative over the things that are given to them.
