Author Topic: MicroBlock Icecube A2 - Advance BLPC Computer (1.4 Update)  (Read 23795 times)

Looks awesome, I'll download and give it a try.

EDIT: I've used it for awhile, and, it's awesome. Events look very advanced. Can't wait to start making my own ROMs.

I have built many Blockland computers in the past, none of which have been this cool. Great work, IcyGamma.

Working on an application for it right now c:
Seems to be going well! Can't wait to post it, and I think I might ask a question to you Sheath. About an extra little thing when there is a large cluster of applications if it gets to that point.

ANYWAY, TO WORK I GO.

Great! Be sure to submit them, I intend on making a new topic for hardware and ROM builds soon. I'm currently working on a hardware & ROM combination that might be good to look at if you are having trouble setting up your ROM.

Hot damn. I havent even put this into my game and I already give it a 14/10

Sheath, I freaking cant get over how cool these are.

I've downloaded every one of your builds, and there so great! I really wanna make a game thing for the IceCube, ill show you it when its finished. :D

Thank you c:

In the meantime, the multipack of Rev 1.3 Icecubes is out, allowing you to place eight of these computers on one server.

Fun statistics. The Icecube has been downloaded 69 times, 23 downloads have been for the multipack of eight computers. So that means that...

230 Icecube A2 computers have been "shipped"

Also, to any ROM developers, the PDF manual has changed for rev 1.3. A new crucial variable that was missing, dhit, has been added, allowing you to use cancel events to quit your ROM when the user hits the desktop button-- this is mandatory. Check the OP for link.

Also what program do you use for logos and stuff.

Photoshop and Keynote.

NEW:

A scanner that scans pictures you draw to the computer for viewing and presentation. Comes with a ROM!

I look forward to the development of hardware.

I wish I could use VCE. You know what? I really aught to learn how to use it.
SOMEONE MOTIVATE ME!!!! What can I do (excluding this) with VCE?

SOMEONE MOTIVATE ME!!!! What can I do (excluding this) with VCE?

My VCE projects in the past:

- Building a tower called "Isar" that runs off projectiles; each electronic has actual power and depends on the generator or it shuts off
- A piano that tracks and remembers what keys you press in its memory so it can playback your song
- This computer

Yes. I know of Isar. That generator looks bloody cool. Okay. I will get VCE. I guess it will take a long time to learn how to use though...

Hey Icy, how did you make the generator for Isar, and how would one go about making a generator that works?
