Author Topic: MicroBlock Icecube A2 - Advance BLPC Computer (1.4 Update)  (Read 23975 times)

Attached below is the Icecube A2 I extracted from the ship I'm planning to use it on. I didn't include the ship itself, because it is quite large, but if need be I can PM you the full save.

Thanks, I'll be looking into it right now.

Report:
The diagnosis found that both the original save and versions of the computer that have been saved into another build are not operating correctly as the A2 CPU brick is not retaining or even accepting variables saved by software and programs on the computer.

The cause is currently unknown however it is being investigated. MicroBlock will be looking into the events and structuring of variables in the computer to ensure no loose ends are causing issues. We will also be looking into the idea that the latest VCE may be having issues with the build for whatever reason, or that there has been an adverse affect due to the re-structuring of saved files and other folders in the v20 update.

An update will be posted later.

Update:  A solution has been found. Please hold for an update of the OP.

News:

Since the report of the broken variables, I've taken a look into the situation. The computer's events were fine, the VCE mod was updated and seemed to work fine, so the only reasonable explanation is the changing of the save folders in v20.

To fix the save, it simply had to be re-saved under Blockland v20. You can now download Rev 1.4 if you are having trouble.

Alternatively, it may be possible to salvage your existing 1.3 model by loading it, re-saving it, then loading it again.

Thanks to everyone who sent in an error report, and to Remousamavi who helped diagnose the problem. You can grab a new computer below if the save technique isn't working for you.

Requires VCE to operate. Apart from that, uses default colors, bricks, and events.

Thank you very much for reading. I appreciate your interest. Please note that, builds like this are made for fun and serve good purpose in RP's and builds. Don't get your knickers in a twist if you don't like the idea of BLPCs.

YAY updates are good

I was going to try and make something like that if I get around to it. I'll edit this post with a link if I succeed.

the only problem is if you wanted to put on none default songs

>Was apping for MicroBlock few months back

>Icy completely berates me for blaming VCE
>oh looky here, blaming his own problems on someone else.

You lazily whipped up a build that didn't work, then made excuses for why it didn't blaming other people. Regardless, the issue was that you tried to apply with a broken app, rather than what the reason behind it being broken was. I am amused that you still believe you were in the right. Thats history now anyway.

I'm not blaming anyone. The v20 update was the problem, and I've fixed it, unlike you. Your build remains broken because you are unwilling to fix it, and probably aren't any good at events to do it yourself anyway.

I won't be talking about this with you ever again, as I pity you now and can't bare seeing you dig this hole; I'll ignore it for your own sake, you'll appreciate it someday, bub.
