Author Topic: Virus found  (Read 9280 times)

hey, i have free AVG on my netbook and blockland with it unlocked, i went on a server not that long ago, owned by 'Deraj' (BL_ID...i dont know it), and on a map called 'Miami - Night', we were doing a zombie roleplay when blockland closed and a popup telling me AVG had discovered a virus in blockland, i have also posted this comment on the AVG support page, i moved blockland to the virus vault and then found that i couldnt be bothered to delete it so i restored it from the vault and tried to open it/run it, but a popup saying "C:/Blockland is not compatible with Win7" - or something like that, can someone help me find out how to fix it, because i have blockland on my netbook and pc, but i want to do that local area network thing where me and my little brother could play together...

PLEASE HELP!

AVG is crap, I used it once and it told me all lies. It's best to get rid of it at once.

By "Unlocked" you mean you had some sort of KeyGen steal a copy for you?

BL_ID 20016

Good server choice.

Anyways, Blockland isn't a virus.

Those can't exist.

A Blockland key doesn't work like key's you use for Microsoft Word or some Game on steam.

When you have a Blockland key, it works anywhere and you can use it over and over. Other keys work only once.

I think the whole BL_ID thing keeps from making Key Generator's, it's just not possible.

Yes, each Key is registered to a person.

There is a 1/1,000,000,000,000,000 chance or something like that that a Keygen will work, and that's only if it manages to guess someone else's key.

If I remember correctly, Badpsot actually writes the keys himself, so you can't make a Keygen that knows the pattern of BL keys then creates one. Something like that.

No, probably not the case. I doubt he would write them all himself.

Your software is lying to you, there is no virus. Do not install security software, as they do not work, mostly.

Avast works pretty good. At one point it seemed to be lieing to me, because it said I have a viruses in my core windows files, but eventually I figured out that I did indeed have a virus, and got rid of it. Avast was just telling me the wrong place. Maybe you have a virus that snuck it's way into some of the Bl files? I dunno.

It is not possible for Blockland to become a virus by connecting to a game.  Whatever problem you're having is unrelated to Blockland.

I love Avast! and I have it on all my house computers (my laptop, my dad's desktop, my mom's work laptop)
