Author Topic: Deaththreats at school today. Lol  (Read 1154 times)

Funny story. So my English teacher is a freaking psycho. We have 4 groups of 4 in english class and each group had to come up with 1 question. So, one groups question was "Why did Holden say "dont say anything"?" so the group that came up with that group gave the paper to my group. Everyone in my group wrote down an answer to the question then it was my turn. I was running out of time so I quickly wrote down "He would kill you" As in "If you tell ANYONE I will kill you"
We passed the papers backed and the people from that group asked who wrote that. I said "I did" and they all laughed because they thought it was funny.
My English teacher looked at it and said "that is inappropriate" He told me I need to explain my answer to him after class

So after class he asked me to explain to him why I wrote that and I did and he said "Some people can see that as a death threat"

._.

tl:dr My teacher thought I wrote a death threat to some girl today

They aren't allowed to have a sense of sarcasm 90% of the time. They have policy to abide by and supervisors to report to. A student screws up or a student tries to be funny/stir up trouble, then the teacher is usually the first to be looked at for why nothing was done instead of why the student did it. Granted, this isn't always the case, but it is better safe than sorry.
