Author Topic: Suggest me a BMX Bike.  (Read 699 times)

Looking for one with
> an 20 inch top tube
> cassette rim
> pivotal seat
> chromoly frame

I'd probably take off the brakes and buy plastic pedals.

Price range $200 - $400 probably.

Lol and all of you who said that Kilser was stupid for wanting to take off his brakes has no clue about BMX biking. If you know how to do it right its not that hard to stop lol.
And its all personal preferences.

The only way I can get a bike is if I have one given to me I used to have a Schwinn mountain bike I loved that thing 26 inch tires only the backbreak worked (Front broke the cable snapped) till my dumb ass uncle junked it because his greedy ass wanted money I told him NOT to touch it and  Icome home and WERE THE forget IS MY BIKE! I ask him and he junked he OWES me a new bike well actully someone I knew who was a owner to a popular restraunt gave me a used chopper styled bike its a Schwinn Stingray so im happy

>Raise money
>Buy new bike
>???
>profit!

Redline Asset, '11, but I'd wait till next month for relase of '12 model

Looks nice, But if you want to do really complicated stuff, I'd suggest getting one with Disc Brakes and Clip-In pedals.
I'm no BMX guy, but looking at what pro's ride, you'd want to look for those key points, maybe not the clip in pedals as much though,

Why clip in pedals

and no brakes. possibly. I would just remove them.

Why clip in pedals
Clip pedals are good because your foot is basically the pedal therefore you can pull up without your foot coming off and such. You also get more power that way.

But when you fall off...

But when you fall off...
Actually, It's quite simple. See, the way you dismount/mount is by slightly twisting your heel outwards. Trust me. You have time.
