You need to uninstall CCC, wipe the assembly of the file I said, then reinstall CCC with the link I sent you.

the thing is if i uninstall CCC from the add/remove programs, i still have no way of getting into that file to wipe the drivers. i've gotten to it, but
the add/remove programs doesn't seem to be able to browse to anything.
