Author Topic: VGA Not working.  (Read 441 times)

OK so I recently got my computer hooked up after it came in about 2 days ago, so me and my dad went and bought a VGA Cable for the monitor (W2207H HP Widescreen LCD), so after hooking up the cable properly I turn on the monitor and there was no signal.
I do have a spare monitor but I don't have a VGA to DVI Cable. And Ive been dieing to get back on blockland for the past 3 months.
Oh, and my tower desktop model is an HP Pavilion Elite m9250F if for some reason it helps.

Well the monitor recognizes there's a cord in it (duh,) so it's either the video card or the cord. One way to test it, just swap your video card into a different computer and see if it works.
If it displays, it's the cord. If not, it's your video card.

I do have one of those old Desktop computers, Ill go try that and post results.

EDIT: Well darn The cable works on my spare computer so it must be the M9250Fs video card.
