Craig McCracken made powerpuff girls.

Craig McCracken made Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends

Lauren Faust made My Little Pony.

I take that back

my childhood is safe and secure

My reaction to this thread:

I don't know why people seem to think Lauren Faust made Powerpuff Girls and Foster's home for imaginary friends. Craig McCracken was the brains behind everything.

Lauren Faust is actually linked to a lot of good cartoons. Craig McCraken probably directed most of those other cartoons, but Faust was the storyboard artist of both Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and Powerpuff Girls. She also was an animator for the Iron Giant, my favorite cartoon movie of all time. She has also received four Emmy nominations for her work.

MLP:FiM was developed by a animation genius.

But anyway, I expect some people to now shun all these great cartoons due to one of their fandoms.

Craig McCracken did more than direct, he created them! He came up with the shows from the start.

Yes, he probably did that. I didn't look up much on him, but I know for a fact Faust was the storyboard artist for both of those cartoons.

She is the storyboard artist of The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and has also worked on both of these shows. The character of Frankie in Foster's is based on her. She also is the creator of the preteen girls' web site Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls. She has received four Emmy nominations (two for Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and two for her work on the Powerpuff Girls) and one Annie nomination for her work on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Most recently, she developed along with Hasbro their new show My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, creating a cult following on the internet known as "Bronies". Faust announced her decision to step down from Executive Producer to Consulting Producer on May 8, 2011 after the first season finale of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.
