Alright alright, fine, I was being a bit douchey, but I still believe that we don't really go that far out of the thread.
There are a few examples but in my opinion it's not really "everywhere" or taking over the forum.
Alright I can respect that. I guess I should clarify more that I know a majority of the times the "bronies" are not responsible for the spreading. When I originally posted it was not a direct attack on the MLP fanbase. More of just pointing out how it does spread out of the topic. I know this topic is not actually about that but I didn't want to create a new topic because that would be spreading it and I did not want to post in the MLP topic because as I said, it was not directed at you guys.
I also would not really mind if only the word ponies was said. But I've noticed more often then not due to the argumentative nature of the forums even saying that erupts in a full debate which can in worse case scenario take over the topic.
But for anybody else who needs examples, following the format I said before:
Hit search, type in ____, select every section but drama.
Type ponies, pony, brony, and bronies in
separate searches.
Ponies: 8 pages
Pony: 10 pages
Brony: 5 pages
Bronies: 4 pages
Like I said, not an attack towards the fanbase. Just throwing it out how much is involved outside the topic.
