Today I had my first ever race in track, i started off thinking 'heh im gonna beat most of these handicaps, what are they thinking starting off sprinting?' about 1/4 of the race passed and my leg started to give out, and my breathing got heavy. I slowed down a little to catch my breath. we came to about half way though the race and there was a little hill, i went over it no problem, then there was another little hill, again i slowed down a little to come over the hill only to see a huge hill, my knee and ankle gave out, so i walk up it having about 2 people pass me. down the hill there was 3/4ths of a mile left, i sprinted it, and came in about 50/80people. I was angry at first, because i promised myself that i would get 10th place, but i also promised myself that I wouldnt get in dead last (i feel bad for the kid who did).

Never under estimate your enemy's.

O_O I learned that the hard way when I almost passed out from running to hard

You ran a mile

and almost died?

Try someone who was sick
has no running experience
and ran 2.5
My legs felt fine, it was my breathing that was bad

and I threw up after the race

I don't hate sports, I just hate the practice..

no, i didnt only run a mile, i ran 2 miles. and I'm experienced, the last time i ran like that was when i was 4, and i stopped half way though.
the only reason i did so bad is because my knee and ankle gave out

I don't hate sports, I just hate the practice..
