The only thing I even relatively dislike is the roof, looks a little plain. Everything else is pure amazing.

Extremely nice, I like the way it's actually built like a real castle would be though I can't say I'm a fan of the outer walls

Which part of the outer walls, just the parts where it is just a plain wall?

I will probably add dormers to the roofs, but they will only be for show because i did the inverse of the roof on the inside and i don't want to undo that work, but then again i just might.

They seem way too small, and the towers that run along the wall are also pointless since you can't go inside them

Ok those walls.  They weren't really meant for defense, they just surround the courtyard and act as a fence so you don't fall off the side of the island.  I fear if I change them it will make it seem too enclosed at that point and I will need to add more in the courtyard to fill up some space.

Meh, I don't like it

Seriously?  Why not?  What would make you like the build at least a little.

It's a bit too bright, and the roof is a bit boring. Maybe some roof decorations will make it less bland.

Get it?

I don't know what I can do about the brightness, since it is White Gold castle, but i do plan on adding dormers and such to the roof.

heh, wasn't expecting this. Looks great.
My only but is the roof which other people also pointed at.

Looks like the castle from Spyro

Actually, that's very true.  My original inspiration for this castle was the autumn plains castle in spyro 2, Ripto's rage.  I'm actually surprised that someone made the connection without me saying it out loud.

What is that map! I knwo I regonise it

If a castles walls cannot defend then they are useless walls that shouldn't be there.
Traditionally castles would have 3 or more walls each separated by a deep trench filled with nasty things like spears and spikes and plagued rats to add to the defense, if it wall is so short that people can jump over it the what's the point? It wouldn't even be able to fend off bombardment by artillery such as ballistas and catapults.

I appreciate that this is not real life, but a castle just isn't a castle without enormous walls to keep out invaders, it's more of a holiday home

Not all castle walls were like that. There are ALOT of castles that were for residental only, and not very heavily defended. Take Neuschwanstein, for example. It's not built for defence purposes, at all.

Very true, but that is more for a castle that is on a large plot of land.  This castle is built on a very tall, very steep island and the only entrance is from the harbor at the beginning because it would not be possible to scale the sides of the island.  If a siege were truly to happen, there wouldn't be any place for the opposing army to place ballistas or catapults and the bridge connecting the harbor to the castle could be destroyed to prevent anyone from ever reaching the top.  It would not realistically be possible to get an army to the top of the island, but if it will please people, after I'm done with the main castle itself, I will build another wall further down to eliminate all attempts for siege, but without blocking the view of the sea from the courtyard.
