I was at The Ievent server and it looked really good. And since I'm sitll not in any clan, I thought I'd ask him if this was good enough to get in. He said it might, so I'm app'ing with it.

I made an old fashioned stage, with a projector that - depending on what movie reel you have in - will project subtitles for a play, and launch an automated play with bots and such. Most of the events are in the Movie reel, it's sort of like the video tapes in the TV that Icy made. And since I was too lazy to come up with some long complicated play, I just made a joke out of this thread.

Here's the save if anybody wants to go through the trouble of making their own play.

The required add-ons are 2x1x2 print brick, jvs content (for the button), setprinttext event, an emitter pack (I forget which, it's the one with the projector looking emitter), gamemode zombie- for the smaller spawn, and bot events, the chocolate bar- that's actually what the bot is using as the building tool, and minigame events- dunno if that's default or not- That's there so that if someone starts the play- it will alert other ppl in case they want to watch, and the wooden looking print, print plates, and no lines bricks.

Since there was a massive number of mods required for the save, as you can see above, I made a version with less mods, that works just about as good.

The only required mods for this is setprinttext, bot events, and the chocolate bar.
-and if you want the emitter, but it's not really needed, get the emitter pack with the projector looking emitter.

Hey thats pretty neat. This could serve really good practical use as well, for example, making a movie about server rules and whats good and whats not.

However don't go bragging about 60 lines of events, thats tiny hehe.

For you it is. For the rest of us its long as hell.

Would like to see a more practical use for this, as long as longer stuff. Good job.
9/10, mostly because the events are just tedious, not overly complex.

I think you'll find for anyone that events builds for fun, 60 events doesn't get very far. In fact its only just over half the capacity a single brick will take. The only reason 3 to 10 events per brick is so common is because most people don't take the time to utilize the event system properly.

OP should definitely venture out more, if 60 events got this far there is plenty of potential for much longer movie reels.

I have to admit that once I tried making a fireworks display and it took around 100-150 lines. It took as long as hell and didnt look all that great. This probably is the reason events deter builders.

What is the capacity a single brick will take? I thought it was 30, which i heard a long time ago.

as far as the number of events go, I might try adding more events in the future, but I could post the save if anybody wants to make their own play. However it might take a while for me to find out what all the required add-ons are, I use a lot.
