to be fair, I have a ton of random stuff that would be on my desktop too, but I put it all in a single folder so that its not so loving cluttered with stuff i almost never use

Yeah, I have a few little things on my desktop, it's not full though.  I don't download to the desktop.

It's almost exactly the same.
Besides, once you move out of your mom's house, you'll have to learn that everything cannot be exactly the way you want it. You're about to be three OS's behind. Many modern games and applications don't even run on Windows XP anymore.
