A while ago I had changed my password on Steam and always stayed logged in but until an update I had to sign into steam again. But I forgot my password, so I clicked the "I don't know my password" button and followed the instructions. I got the verification code but then it asked me this:

Please also enter the *answer* to the following question into the 'Secret Answer' field of the same dialog:

I looked for my old codes and such and have entered it in thousands of times and still it says its not correct.

So basically I was given a question I cannot answer.

Exactly.  Steam support is the last line where you go "Well forget, I lost all my games."

You can't call them.  They prevent it.

my account was hacked and they were pretty quick to help me out considering they also have to help out all those other people.


Next time make a code you can remember.
I did I usually only use 3 or 4 and a few digits for most passwords.

Any of the ones I would have used I put in there.

Something tells me theres been a hack.

I got my email back after waiting a full day.

I got the code an they reset my password and entered it but it still will not log in.
