Author Topic: The Elder Scrolls Megathread  (Read 673507 times)

I heard a bunch of my friends complaining how the map is going to be really small.
From what I've heard its 12 Square Miles. If I'm correct, that's about 20sq km, and that's just about the same size as Panau in Just Cause 2.

It takes about 5 minutes to fly from one end to the other in JC2, with the Pell Silverbolt, so if Skyrim has a map that big, it would take an hour or two just to go that far by foot.
I remember running in heavy armor from Leyawiin to Anvil in Oblivion, and it took about a half hour.

i cant wait for the child rape mods

Someone make a new thread...? :o

Oh come on really?
Another OP got banned?

I really hope Skyrim has much more weapons/armor content.

It was so limited in Oblivon, I thought some weapons and armor looked ugly (Daedric everything) so I had to use something weaker. (I eventually just made madness armor). And one of my  favorite weapons was the elven dagger, but that sucked ass later on.

But at least make multiple armors and weapons with the same stats so you have a choice if you don't like another style. Or the ability to give weaker items the strength or damage rating of later weapons.

Or as I said before, multiple weapons that have similar stats. Diversity, for one, but if I don't like a glass weapon, for example, I won't be able to get a better weapon until Ebony. Let's say an orcish sword has the same stats as the glass sword, and I think the orcish sword looks badass, I'll have a choice between those two (But not just two, at least 5 -7 per level/stat) And make the damage vary a little too.

Glass as another example:
Let's assume the attack base is 17 or something like that. It should vary all around, like to 16, 17, 19, until it starts decaying, but that's different.

That's all that's on my mind right now.

Anyone agree?

I say let this thread be. Only nineteen days anyway.

Well the better question is if it was a permaban or not.
If not, we could try another megathread, but for now lets stick with this.

Got a PM from DominicTheDonkey saying it was only a week ban.

They'll watch you play and realize that they've wasted their money on a sub-par program that doesn't compare to what you're playing. They'll ask if they can play alongside you and you'll say...
"Sorry, one player only."
Then you'll don your sunglasses, take the disc out, turn the Xbox off and walk away like a badass with the game in hand.

They all gather around a pyre made of copies of MW3, then go to Best Buy the next morning to buy copies of Skyrim. They play it, really like it, then commend Solid for his excellent taste in gaming. One little patch of the world is made a better place due to Solid's actions.

Why do you guys (in this forum) get banned so often?

i wonder if this game's gonna be leaked early. i can see videos of game footage going up before release. all it takes is some ambitious mailman to upload the game.

No leaks are accidental. Developers do it to bring attention to their game, which Skyrim already has plenty of.
