You'll be able to craft your own weapons and armor in Skyrim, so if there is such a thing you would make it yourself.

I would hope that the weapons would be expensive to make, in terms of resources needed.

I wonder how you would come across these resources.

Im sure you will be able to loot veins and stuff.

I'm pretty sure its more than just looting, there is the New-ish smithing skill that encompasses mining, skinning, tanning, forging, etc.

You might actually have to whack mineral deposits with a pickax to retrieve stuff from them.

I can actually see them doing that, but in a WoW type of way. (Click on vein, game does it for you)
