Fast travel ruins a lot of game but you can't resist using it. Like when Skate 2 introduced fast travel you would always use it to get to events but you would rarely explore the place between the events unlike skate 1

Fallout though i dont care as much

I would actually travel a lot in Skyrim, so I didn't feel bad about fast traveling between cities when I'd end up between them at some point anyway.

That's because, in Fallout, going for a leisurely stroll could have you wind up halfway across the world.
The purpose of fast travel is defeated if it's in a world the size of a corner bistro.

I love fast travel. It's stupid for me to have to walk from Markarth to Solitude and back for a quest. I'd always take the same, shortest, route; I miss out on nothing with fast travel.

I didn't know fast travel existed until I had to go fight a dragon with delphine
;-;

I only fast travel from towns to other towns in the same hold, and I use carts to travel between holds if I need to.

No mod forcing me to do so, but that's just how I roll.

The problem with Not fast traveling in skyrim is that i always happen apon caves and places that i shouldn't go to yet, then i create quest paradoxes where i cannot finish a quest because I already cleared out the cave or something.

I broke the Dayna Valin (or whatever it is) quest really bad. Not even console commands can fix it anymore.

Hey guys Skyrim is going to be released in 2 months and 3 days!

I can easily resist using it, but the fact of the matter is its often more fun to use it, rather than run back over the same terrain and see the same caves that I've already seen.

The first time I travel somewhere I always go by foot and explore a couple dungeons on the way, but when I'm returning to the city I came from (generally whiterun) I just fast travel.

Morrowind with mods is best
The atmosphere, the world, the lore, the massive amount of stuff to do, it made the game so spectacular.

and the amazing wall of text you have to read every time you start and finish a quest

this brings about a good point, bitches complain about the lack of diverse voice actors and that they would rather not have it at all. But I for one feel that if I wanted to read a paragraph everytime I talk to someone, I'd rather just be reading a greatly written book, such as the song of ice and fire series.

Morrowind had loving horrible combat, everything else was great. But there was so much combat I just couldn't take it.
Oblivion had an okay world okay combat, okay quests, and was a good game.
Skyrim had good combat, a good world, good quest and was my favorite.
