Author Topic: Why did AlexGT get banned?  (Read 804 times)

He went on a minirant about how he hates the forums.
i'v seen people go on rants and not get banned, why did he?

It looks more like a "too cool for internet" ban.

In general if you call the people of the forum anything demeaning repeatedly in a post it means you're on the verge of leaving.

If a person is going to rage and leave then they're not worth being in here.  Anyone who was worth being here and wanted to leave did it silently and without making themselves look like a pusillanimous individual.

Basement dwellers...

seems somewhat familiar.

And too cool for the internet to me.

He was raging at me the other day about my skype status updates.

But he still didn't say he was leaving, and its not in the rules that you can ban somebody because you think they're leaving.

A "to cool for internet ban" isn't bannable either :I not in the rules at least.

You need to read the unwritten book of rules.

badspot doesn't need a reason, he bans when he feels like it. i remember there was a week where he banned a forgetload of people, they were temporary bans, but they were bans none the less.

Banning somebody for a rule that they don't know about? I doubt the moderators have gone that low.
