Author Topic: Which TVTropes idioms are you?  (Read 1955 times)

Just post the tropes that characterize you. Alphabetical sorting is idgaf, but try to keep the things about online, IRL and games in separate tags. After a trope, you can either press enter and carry on to the next trope, or you can (try to?) explain how it affects you.
"Averted" means inverted, by the way.

Real Life:
Brilliant, But Lazy
Cloud Cuckoolander: Somethimes at home, very rarely at school, and all the time when trying to sleep.
Stop Worshipping Me
Fear OF Thunder: oh god what if my mouse zaps me
It Sucks To Be The Chosen One
Knight In Sour Armor: Sometimes.
Not Your Problem: Sometimes my respone to classmates' questions in school when I'm not in a good mood. Which leads to the next trope:
Mood Swinger

Online:
Deadpan Snarker: More like ALIVEpan snarker! Haw haw haw!
Mood Swinger
No Sense Of Humor: Averted.
Ridiculous Procastinator: Often results in a brick joke.
Sir Swears-a-loving-lot
Precision F Strike: Sometimes.
What The Hell Are You: Whenever someone I never knew adds me on steam.

Gaming:
Space Station 13:
Crowbar Combatant: My preferred tool of prying out windows and bashing people's craniums in.
Heroic Sociopath: I can be good and evil at the same time. And don't get me started on what happens when I start hallicunating like loving stuff.
Team Fortress 2:
Badass: (mouseover)
Because I'm Good At It
Oh Crap: Whenever I'm on low health and see any enemy behind the corner.
Battle Theme Music: Whenever my mp3 player isn't dead.

the above list was an example AND my sheet

Theres too Many to chose form
take your time
you can also only choose from a few categories

I'll be back in a few days after reading each one and choosing which idioms I am.

Brilliant, but lazy
So in other words, you think you're brilliant, but when that fails to show you blame it on laziness.

i hope you're joking

I'm not, part of being brilliant is not being lazy.

I'm not, part of being brilliant is not being lazy.

You can be brilliant and not do anything with it.

"Averted" means inverted, by the way.

It means that the trope appears like it SHOULD be there, but isn't. So what you're saying is that when someone looks at you he'd go like "I think you don't have a sense of humor" but it would turn out you do or something along those lines.
