Author Topic: Can someone teach me how not to suck at Starcraft?  (Read 2056 times)

I picked the Battle Chest up yesterday, and decided to play it today. I did a Skirmish on OCS 98', having played a bit of Starcraft previously. 6 minutes later, my base was wiped out by three zerg zealots. ;.;

Belongs in games and get with the times SC2 is a million times better.

You need to be Korean or whatever

My computer can't run Starcraft 2. I really need a new one.

It's not like anyone plays SC1 has players anymore, maybe a few. Plus there are no divisions unlike SC2 so you're almost guaranteed to get pitted against some person who will stuff in your cornflakes fast.

The only solution is to A: become a Korean or B: get SC2, and I don't think A is possible so that narrows it down.

I play offline (skirmishes)

I doubt it can't run it unless it is insanely bad as you can turn sc2 graphics down to virtually nothing.

So you're losing to the computer?
Lower your difficulty.

Computers really aren't good to learn against as they just do the same thing every time and they do whats known as a cheese where they get units super early and attack really early. Also if I recall on SC1 the computers kind of glitch out a lot sometimes I would play vs a comp and would be building a big base with a huge army and go over to kill him and he hadn't built anything at all.

You do realize Zealots are protoss?

And you need to learn Macros.
