Author Topic: How do I export transparent textures in Milkshape3d?  (Read 1209 times)

I have been able to see the precipitation through the textures but nothing else.  What options do I need selected out of the options below for normal transparency.

You can't. It's an issue with Blockland.

I'm not entirely sure what you're after, but in my experience, using Translucent + Additive works but you have to darken the color a good bit.

Ghost's beach ball seems to have transparency, and my Brick Mobile has translucent windows.

It's a weapon.  I know it's possible.

Yeah, it's possible, but not possible to fix the issue with transparency messing up emitters.

My question was rather what options I need checked in exporting, I did post a picture.  If anyone can export it for me I can send it to you to export on your own.  The tansparency works for the projectile, but not for the weapon.

I've also wondered about this.

Just check translucent and make the texture transparent.

No, do what Blastdown said.

You don't need to make the image transed.

Doesn't the additive make that texture glow?

That's what "Self Illuminating" is.

Even with that off, the texture is usually very bright.
Hence the
you have to darken the color (as in the image) a good bit.

What about the material I used, TCyan?  Did I export it wrong from GIMP?  Or is there something that still needs to be checked?

You just make it a png that is 16x16.

You could just make it not Subtractive or Additive :s

Don't do that. Doesn't work.
