Author Topic: Teaching Youth Group is fun! (Screw you Hiro)  (Read 521 times)

So recently, my mother has been telling me to go get a job, do something, etc, so I volunteered to teach Youth Group at a nearby church to appease the angry volcano gods who will evidently destroy me and end the world if I don't get a job. My first day teaching was today, and let me tell you, it was fun as forget. I got there ten minutes before all of the kids were to arrive and I met my "boss". She was nice, and gave me an overview of what I was to teach these kids. Then the kids arrive and come inside the barn where youth group is. They're all around sixth grade, and they're looking at me like "who the forget is that". I introduce myself and I start teaching, and then my boss taps me on the shoulder and says, "you've done enough teaching, now it is time to play games". This happens ten minutes in to the two hour class.

Game time essentially means going into the preschool building, blasting Green Day loud as anything over the intercom, and playing hide and seek in this big as forget building. I have Basket Case blaring, and I hid in a spot nobody could ever find and played games on my phone, and for that I get $20. All of the kids said I was the best teacher ever :D

tl;dr When I teach Youth Group at church we listen to Green Day and play games instead of "learning"

You don't have to worry about them picking on you either because you're big enough to beat them up. c:

They wouldn't beat me up, I'm hiding and not teaching them, therefore I am the best teacher ever.

Imagine you being a teacher for a school! c:

I actually plan to go to teacher's college if my parents get enough money :c.

I would get yelled at so much though, which is very ironic because I can go to a church to teach, not actually teach, and listen to music with more curses than a sailor could manage, and it's fine :/

I sorta did the same thing but it was being a vacation bible school leader

stuff was fun as forget
but i didnt get paid because i was in need of some service hours for my school
