Gimme Ideas.

So our English teacher gave the class a Writing assignment that can be done by hand or computer. The assignment: Make a Creative story.
Ive decided to do mine on an Abandoned Village, and the flashback takes up the rest of the story, explaining what happened to get the village that way. I already know how to start off with the Intro. But I need Ideas for the flashback.
So, start posting, I guess?

I was trapped between several cannibals and several wolves. I needed protection fast. I had a few logs, but what good would those do? I had to use them, I- Forget it the story just doesn't fit my tastes. Get better plot.
