I installed windows developer preview yesterday, steam stopped working, it says "connecting steam account (NAME)" and disappears, i cant launch my games
no error

i know, but i have 100GB of games and it's not moving, i moved all of them last night.

Is steam even configured yet for windows 8? ._.

I didn't run it on W8, i went back to 7 with my other hard drives and on7  its forgeted up.

Re install it but keeo the game files.

delete every file in the steam folder except the steamapps folder and steam.exe then run steam.exe and it should fix anything wrong with it

Tried that, didnt work, repeat problem

control panel > unistall a program > steam ???? profit

Damn I can't give the direct link to the steam support page because the forums is saying it's a reference or something (and that I should kill myself)
But backup clientregistry.blob and delete it, or rename it.

Then try and run steam.
