Thats a pretty cool way for him to handle it. You acknowledge that its something you probably shouldn't have been doing (despite getting away with it) so I'd recommend you appreciate that he passive aggressively (and almost comically) destroyed it in that way, rather than kicked up a massive bitch fuss.
On another note, it sounds to me like you are one of those people that does drugs and is really in your face about it (i.e making pipes in front of peers) to seem more interesting. Esp. since you posted this topic. Just sayin'.
