But I digress, two people can share the same key assuming they are using the same internet connection. (IE your brother that lives with you can use the same key.) Now if you wanted to share your key with someone you barely know or a friend halfway across town you can not do that.

That is my understanding of it, anyone care to correct?

That's a little ambiguous. So I'll just give you both scenarios. If you share your key with your sister or brother that lives with you, that's fine. If you share your key with a friend living across town well... I am not sure what happens, I think you get your key taken away.

Sharing keys is not allowed outside the same internet connection  and can result in key deactivation.
Also, posting about it, asking someone to share a key with you on the forums monitored by the people that have the power to act on this kind of interaction, is foolish.
