Author Topic: I just heard a huge explosion in my neighbourhood.  (Read 2866 times)

I was about to take a sip of my drink, the explosion occured, and I spilt it all over my face. We went outside immideatly to look what it was, but there was nothing. I don't know what it was and I'm scared to death, and I don't know what I'm going to do if it happens again.

Well do not go back outside, are you crazy?

what makes you think it was an explosion

Because an explosion makes an explosion noise, nothing else.

what makes you think it was an explosion

Hmm...I guess that huge "BOOOOM" was just a cat, then.

stuff. I didn't think it was that loud.

Thunder? Sonic boom? Earthquake? Or it could have been a bomb... If your neighborhood is about to be a battle zone, it's time to put your war face on and get out there.

Probably a little earthquake. happened around my parts a while ago and all it did was startle me.

how did you spit on your face?

The exact same way you don't seem to have an ability to read.

no but boom might as well have been a car doing something wrong for all we know.

you didn't even see anything. it was probably your mom moving furniture.

Happened to me before, but a power out occurred afterwards...

Once the transformer on our power lines exploded. There was no explosion but fire came out of it.

You weren't there. Trust me, it sounded like one hundred fireworks exploding at the same time very close to me. Also, it couldn't have been my mom moving furniture, she was in the kitchen along with me when we both heard the explosion.
