Is it possible to make custom bricks?

I know that the is such thing as a brick add on, but as far as I know it's impossible to export BLB files from Milkshape.  Is there any other way to convert an MS3D or DTS into a BLB?  Or is there any kind of mod that would allow certain DTSs to be placed as if they were bricks?
