Author Topic: Malfunction & Paperdemon abusing votekick! (Read 2036 times)

Hello well I was on Moby1997's server then blocker Is cake, Malfunction and Paperdemon join.
Then they start votekicking each other and Im like wtf? so Blocker is cake is my friend so I voted no every time they votekick him and I ask what the reason is and they say "For being an starfish thats why." and then after that I votekick Malfunction for freevotekicking and then he just goes Spazzy and of course they all vote yes.
After that he got votekick and then the server got full so Paperdemon votekicks me and I am just saying why?
He then trys to get everyone to say yes which they say no
In the end they are out for me and blocker banning me and him from every server that they have admin on.
Sorry for no proof but I took pictures but they arn't there...

It all started when Paperdemon was calling out who had weapons, while he was spectating. It pissed off the criminals, so Cake vote kicked him. Then he got butthurt and started spamming vote kicks on Cake.

Votekick is one of the most common abusive add-ons, when it comes to people bandwagoning it, or just by-passing the 1 vote limit (which is connecting, vote, disconnect, and repeat).

Some people just dont believe in some people being there is enough proof.

I would like to point out a few things overall after you show proof, Moby1997 is not a really good host, I was about to say something about if its possible to show it to him and ask him to remove votekick, but Moby1997 in the other hand is not going to do anything because of the past drama topics he had (and yes of course its his server).

Overall when you see a server that has the votekick add-on, you know that its going to be one of the bad servers that you'll join, because people won't just use the votekick correctly. What I suggest is not stay in the server for awhile because you'll just get angry people at you for just doing the correct objective. I've had this problem before, one person kept votekicking me from one of my favorite server, but votekick just ruins everything.

I would have thought votekick should be a failbinned add-on or
it having to be approved by an admin before it can come to hand.

The whole problem could have been avoided if there were a separate chat for dead people.

There is an add-on that has it currently, the Team Deathmatch gamemode, you have to enable it if you're the mini-game creator.
