Author Topic: Mint Trail Rating (Beta)  (Read 825 times)

Hi, everyone. I'm working on a trail rating system that determines how good various Blockland vehicles are for off-roading. I do so by collecting data on how far they are able to go on a steep hill with rough terrain, approach angle, breakover angle, departure angle, turning radius, and horsepower. After I have collected the data, I average out the scores in the different areas, weighing some more heavily than others, and come up with a final percentage. Using that percentage, I assign each vehicle to a class, 1 being the best and 5 being the worst. Below are the 9 vehicles I have rated so far. Please let me know what you think about this rating system, and give me requests for vehicles to rate.

Class 1:
Stunt Buggy (Kaje, v1): 87%
Tank (Badspot): 85%
Jeep (Badspot): 84%

Class 2:
SUV Off-Road (Phydeoux, v2): 73%
Mongoose (Azerath, v3): 67%
Pickup Truck Off-Road (Phydeoux, v2): 63%

Class 3:
SUV (Phydeoux, v2): 54%
Blockstang 2010 (Pandan, v2): 53%
Harley Davidson (Nuclear Reaction, v1): 52%

Class 4:

Class 5:

Do the Longhorn.
Okay. I'll do it later today when I have time. I am guessing that it will end up in Class 1, but its large turning radius might bump it down into Class 2.

Jeep has bad turning on rough terrain.

If you're talking about which one drives the smoothest, it's the Humvee, no doubt.
If you're talking about best for stunting, Longhorn or Stunt Buggy.

Gravity Cat's humvee.

I haven't finished testing the Humvee yet, but it was unable to make it up the rough terrain hill climb. I still have to test the Warthog.

I climbed an 85 degree angle on an edited version of the Slopes with the tank. It wins.
