It's my processor causing it, 100% sure.

How good is it? Or should I say bad?

I found 11 GB of me accidentally clicking the screenshot button, xD.

So I'm going to try to download this. I'm betting something will go wrong during the installation, however.

Aside from the ability to "walk" on planets, how does this compare to Celestia?

This isn't a space sim, it's essentially just a fully navigable scale model of the universe. It takes what we know exists, and procedurally generates the rest, down to the detail you see in the OP. You can fly to other galaxies and explore with the same detail as the Milky Way.

forget it, I'm so incompetent at using computers I can't even handle a .rar file. I knew this wouldn't work.

here, have some space boxes.

Open main.cfg in the config directory and change the VideoMemorySize value to your video card's memory amount.
then 1gb of video memory isn't enough. seems like it crashes more on my new 64bit win7 computer with more power than it did on my old
 32bit winxp computer.

I have 512MB of video memory and I get crashes fairly rarely. :o

Oh wow. lol It's probably having a lot of trouble creating meshes and textures.

I was exploring the Andromeda Galaxy and I found a really cool local cluster inside of a pink gas cloud:

There's a blue main sequence star with a full solar system at the center:

It has a few cool gas giants with moons:

Also a complete asteroid belt, as designated by the orbits:

This thing is so awesome. I feel like a little kid.
