Author Topic: Trolled by an ad.  (Read 903 times)

I was on Trolldad.com when I saw a "improve your life advertisement". The one time, ONE loving TIME I decide to click an ad out of boredom, I get redirected to Newbetteryou.com and there is a button that says "Improve your life in one easy step. I click it to see where this is all going and BAM, I get sent to the page to deactivate your Facebook account. At first I was like >:O but then I was like  :cookieMonster:. Whats even funnier is after I exited the tab, A pop-up came saying "tell your friends" and one of the methods of telling them was, you guessed it, through Facebook -_-'.

EDIT: If anyone cares, here's the banner that you see.

Why would someone pay just to more or less tell a joke to people who'll they'll never see?

why would you be stupid enough to click an ad that says to improve your life, but doesn't explain how it will do it?

That ad isn't trolling you.
It's trying to help you.

Fixed.
Oh stuff, fixing.

Curiososity about how stupid the site/premise really is.
