People want space, how should I go about doing this?

Attempting to colonozie a planet, multiple factions, pewpew lasers.
Planet already colonized, aliens on planet, factions fighting each other. Mm, Lost Planet.
Spaceship battles from the veiw of crew members.
Spaceship battles from the veiw of a pilot.
Spaceship battle.
Space wars in general (planets, space, asteroids, basically star wars without the insest)
Giant space story from multiple view points and has more then just pew pew lasers
forget space, do something else.

Hi

This seems cool.  Also, I'm actually really proficient in grammar if you'd like me to read your work when you've finished one of the short stories.

Seriously, things like dangling modifiers and incorrectly used clauses can mess up the mood of writing.

But, help or no help, good luck dude.

An account of the vietnam war in which the narration is done by a soldier's journal.

I think you should write a space novel (in regards to space battle) about the first ACTUAL space mission. (being fictional of course)

The first space travel could be written as actually being an "accident" where somehow a freak accident with national socialist technology throws a German Destroyer and U.S. Submarine into space far from earth. The shaken people on both vessels who survived have to combine their ships tech and supplies to make a working vessel to return to earth. Old iron Diver suits would be my thought for what they could use to survive outside of the ships. As they travel back to earth, they will meet species, collect new technologies to improve their scrap ship and have conflicts in the space voyage that would write the story in between that time. The best part is that would enable your story to be written out in episodes. And occasionally you could have dark conflicts with the two different crews who still act like they are at war with each other even though they have to survive together. IN the end, the first spacetravel would never be recorded into historical records. :o

I would love to have someone proof read them, if you have the time.

Oh thats not a bad idea. Problem is, I don't think that would make a good series, but seeing as you said novel, it makes sense. I will probably do that eventually, but I want to stick to space series for now.

All I have is horror stories about space.
Good horror stories. I had a dream and it was the scariest dream
I ever had and it was about space!
Although it would have to be like a story with like 3 sequels. So the story doesn't end the within the 1 story so it keeps you
guessing.

Red space?

Also, once I actually choose a topic, I will let people choose the theme. At least to some extent, people will just be choosing/suggesting the main body of the story, not outlining it.
People will also choose episode and chapter names, and the names will most likely make up the story.

Yea it's not my best work and I had to write it for school so I ended up doing mine at 10 at night. But it was my very first short story EEEEEEEEEE

Ok guys info in the op lets get (srs) names rolling. I probably won't start the first story until the names chosen.

I've got a story i've been working on in concept for for half a year called the boy's battalion.

Basically, it's a resistance cell made of mostly young teenagers trying to liberate their city from the occupiers

it's set in a fictional world, where the last major resistance to "the occupiers" (their name is kept secret so the reader can imagine a bit himself) is faltering under the weight and stress of continuous war, which has been going on for years and years in the world.
